The SAPRA (Security and Political Risk Analysis) India
Foundation requires expertise to (a) enhance its research
capabilities, and (b) fulfil its non-profit goal of educating
Indians and foreigners about Indian national security concerns.
Focussing on South and Central Asia, with a parallel focus on
Military, Terrorism, Foreign Affairs and political risk issues, the
organisation offers full time job opportunities to scholars, as
well as learning and research opportunities for summer interns and
visiting fellows. The primary requirement currently is for scholars
with expertise in the southern Asia region.

Vacancies: We are Hiring!
The Foundation requires trainee research scholars of Indian origin for full time
positions. Candidates must be graduates with a specialisation in
Political Science, History, International Relations or strategic
studies. Preference would be given to those candidates who have a
masters degree or higher. Candidates must be computer literate,
have advanced writing skills and an overriding interest in pursuing

We are looking for two kinds of people: research executives and
data entry operators.
Salary: Would depend on qualifications, experience and ability.
Starting salary for fresh researchers is generally Rs 8,000 per
month. For others, it would be negotiable.
Work Location: Greater Noida, a suburb of New Delhi.
Work timings: 8 am to 5 pm
Work days: Monday through Saturdays (45 hours a week)
Required Skills: Proficiency in computer operations, research
methods and the English language.
Scholarships
Two Indian students pursuing their studies in international relations, strategic studies or related fields are given cash scholarships every year. Prospective candidates must send two letters of recommendations from their institutional mentors, their detailed CVs and a short essay on why they require a scholarship to pursue their studies.
Internships
The Foundation encourages scholars in the areas of political &
security risk, terrorism, foreign affairs and military studies to
apply for a three to six month stint as a visiting research fellow in New
Delhi. Since its inception in 2003, we have had more than four scholars interning with us.
